Really Fun Birthday Ideas & Planner

When it is time to plan your child's birthday party, it is easy to get overwhelmed with all the little details. I am a last-minute kind of girl, so the night before EVERY birthday party you will find me up late usually cutting ribbons, printing tags, making bags, packing games, printing games or scouring the wonderful world of mommy blogs for inspiration.

Cookie Mag has compiled a really fun and cute birthday idea guide with some fresh new ideas you will love.

Of course, start with your child's favorite things for inspiration for their party theme. You can base an entire birthday party theme on a favorite stuffed animal, dress, truck or book.

I think the only way to stay SANE while planning a birthday party is to STICK TO YOUR THEME. There are so many great ideas and products out there that you can easily end up with enough supplies for three or four party themes. When you go into a store, be sure you know what you are looking for. If they don't have it, keep moving. Or you can always ask the owner if they have what you are looking for (that especially works with me).

If you are just beginning to dive into the planning phases of a party, here is a great planning guide from Cookie too.

Let me know what you think of these resources from Cookie Mag. I saw a blog button recently that says, "will blog for comments". It may be showing up here very soon. :)

  1. Love the ideas.... It's good to have inspiration for ANY kind of theme even something as easy as a circle party! No need to have an over the top extravaganza!

  2. Thanks for this! I also love the circle party idea. My little guys will be having their 1st/3rd bday party in December and I'm already trying to organize...primary color circles seem perfect!

ps. I want the will blog for comments button :)
