This little sweetie won the True Love Found felt birthday crown giveaway. She will be celebrating her first birthday soon...don't you love her polka dot bow headband? Hopefully her mom will tell us where she found it (and that outfit)!
Thanks to each of you who gave me boy's fabric advice. I bought all of them from one of my favorite fabric shops. I couldn't choose!
Now something new - I am opening up a few limited ad spots in the left sidebar for your business!
Do you sell products that are perfect for polka dot birthday parties? Do you want our fabulous readers to find your shop and have an easy way to click and shop?
Rates are very reasonable. I mean VERY reasonable. Remember, I'm a mom in business too! So join me - send me a note to email@example.com to reserve your spot.
Now I'm off to the post office (my mailman decided to drive by at 10am this morning before my boxes were out - how could he?!).
Moms, I need your help! I found this great new line of boy's polka dot fabrics and of course, I want to order all of them and make birthday number shirts and initial tees all day long, but do you like all of these colors? Do you like one pattern more than the other?
This is a little survey. Please look at these five fabric swatches and comment below with your favorite one (or your thoughts on this fabric line). Do you like these?
Choice #1 is above: Chocolate with blue/red/cream dots
Choice #2 is below: Blue/chocolate stars
Choice #3: Chocolate with blue big dots
Choice #4: Cream with blue/orange/green stars
Choice #5: Cream with blue/orange/green big dots
Which one is your favorite? Or should I just order them ALL for Polka Dot Market's winter tee shirt collection?
Help me! :)
You know you want one!

Look who I found hanging out in the Polka Dot Market Facebook group yesterday!
This sweetie is wearing our pink and green birthday tutu set complete with our polka dot korker ribbon bow. Oh, I love her dimple and those two little teeth...takes me back. How did my girls turn 3 and 5 so fast?
One, two...buckle my shoe. Have you seen a cuter pair? This brother and sister duo are all decked out in coordinating chocolate dots birthday number shirts. Sis is wearing our pink and chocolate tutu set and brother is wearing a comfy light blue boy's number tee.
I'd love it if you join our Facebook group too! (Did I mention that I posted a new coupon this morning for our members?)
Have a great Sunday with your family!
I wanted to share with you the birthday number tee photos that have been rolling in from my fabulous Polka Dot Market customers.
The sweetie pie above is dressed in our all-pink Princess Tutu Set complete with a pink polka dot number one romper tee and matching pink boutique tutu with a pink polka dot ribbon bow.
Don't you just love the giant present she's sitting on covered in pink polka dot wrapping paper? She was having so much fun dancing in her tutu that she just had to take her shoes off. (I know the feeling, girl!)
Next up is this handsome guy all dressed for his 2nd birthday party in his Retro Stripe boy's birthday number tee. You may choose a light blue or a white tee shirt for boys and we have so many fabrics to help you design the perfect birthday tee for your little boy.
Looks like he is very excited to see his brand spankin' new tricycle! His mom sent me a photo of him passed out sleeping after his party too - still wearing his birthday tee, of course. Must have been a great party, Mom!
Cooper's mom planned and designed a pastel blue, green and yellow first birthday party for her son. We sewed a blue dots first birthday tee for Cooper and created a custom chenille birthday hat for him too.
My favorite is the high chair name banner that she made for Cooper. Don't you just love that idea? Looks like the cards are strung together on rick-rack in her party colors. Wonderful!
Sweet Reagan picked a hot pink number tee with Lakehouse apple dots fabric for her giant number four shirt applique (in the new funky dots font).
Her mommy owns Ciao Bella Bows and of course made a fabulous boutique hair bow to match!
This heart-throb had a farm-themed birthday party and his mom dressed him from head to toe in chocolate tiny check gingham plaid. She started with a white birthday number tee then added our custom summer shorts to match. Don't you just love it?
Everyone at the party will know that HE IS THE BIRTHDAY BOY! :)
I would be thrilled to help you create a custom birthday party outfit for your child too. Our birthday number tees feature hand-cut appliques from our own patterns which are sewn to each shirt in a satin stitch. Shirts may be washed and worn again and again.
See all of our birthday number tee options for girls and boys at Polka Dot Market.
And keep sending me these great photos - I love seeing them!
Drooling yet? Can you believe the icing and polka dot details on these balloon, party hat and cupcake-shaped cookies? They are a work of art!
Lori's Place is cooking up these beautiful birthday and shower favor cookies every day from Kissimmee, Florida. But you can visit her right here:
Pricing starts around $2 per cookie. The perfect polka dot party favor, in my opinion!
Mmmm...do you think I should offer favor cookies like this for sale at Polka Dot Market?

Tiffany of Tessa's Tidings was gracious enough to share her birthday party planning mastery, photos and her family's heart with us today. I don't normally post photos of the birthday girl's mom crying at her 1st birthday party, but there is a reason. Tessa was born one year ago 15 weeks premature weighing 1 pound, 15 ounces. Tiffany writes how overwhelming it was to celebrate at Tessa's 1st birthday party, remembering where they were just one year before. Read more about Tessa's birth here.
It is well worth saying that birthdays can be joyous or a total heartache and I want to pray today for all the moms who may not get to plan a 1st birthday party this year. Read more about premature birth at http://www.marchofdimes.com/.
Tiffany planned an all-out red and black polka dot ladybug theme birthday party for Tessa this year. From hand-stamped ladybug paper tablecloths to red and black polka dot party hats with lime feather trims, I just love every personal touch.
See Tiffany's red t-shirt in this photo? She is committed to her theme - I love that! :)
I think she is brave for giving Tessa that huge lime green smash cake! At least she took off her precious ladybug pillowcase dress first. :)
Tiffany took the time to note each store or friend who helped her pull her ladybug themed party together. Find all the resources and inspiration you need in her party photo album.
Thank you for sharing your heart and your little ladybug's story with us, Tiffany!
