Katie's Black and Pink Dots Party

Katie sent us these precious photos from her daughter's recent 1st birthday party with a "Black and Light Pink Polka Dots" theme. I love everything she created for this fun outdoor party.

First, the cake design is so simple and divine. Doesn't that icing look good enough to lick right off the page? Okay...maybe I have a thing for icing. I just love the simple light pink icing with true pink accents and #1 with tiny white dots all around it. (This is a great photo to e-mail to your baker if you love the design too.)

Katie brought her color scheme to life in her choice of black polka dot favor bags with light pink dots ribbon bows and white favor tags. I love these bags so much - need to stock these at Polka Dot Market, don't you think? By choosing a large favor bag with a bold print, Katie was able to use the favor bags as part of the table decorations. Great thinking!

Another favorite photo...Katie created this adorable 12-months-in-pictures banner of her little sweetie. Each section is labeled with the month ("1 month", "2 months", etc.) and attached to a giant circle "dot" photo from that month. I'm sure her guests stood looking at this cute banner for most of the party! I love the Curlz font circles in Katie's "Happy Birthday" banner too. Pink and black polka dots are everywhere on this fabulous dessert table.

Katie selected our Spots Black and Pink polka dot plates and napkins for her dessert table. Be sure to check out our black and pink polka dot party planner for all coordinating decorations available at Polka Dot Market.

Oh no! More yummy pink icing photos! Yummy...each cupcake features her "signature color" pink icing paired with sweet black polka dot cupcake liners. You did such a great job keeping with your theme, Katie! I love it all...looks like quite a party that I'm sure you and your guests will remember for years and years to come. :)
